Laboratory
¿What does Creadores Laboratory mean?
It is an inclusive and free laboratory where teenagers from secondary and high schools enjoy playwriting lessons. It is made up of different sessions taught by playwrights with wide experience, in which students learn the basic tools to write their own theatrical and fiction texts. Our labs end with the reading, by professional actors and actresses, of the writings made by the students.
A programme that opens up to the future, to creators who, in a few years, will be the leading playwrights. It is a project that takes steps towards the accessibility of art for the young community. The lessons introduce the tools of writing through play, approach and challenge, in an open and participatory way.

How is this process developed?
Taking advantage of the trust, a familiar space provides, the activities are held in the students’ educational centres. The aim is to try to remove the mystery and elitism which often defines theatre. Creadores brings closer to the students the theatre as a tool, as a profession and an accessible cultural way of doing and being.
Labs are aimed at secondary and high school students between 15 and 18 years old and they are held at different periods of the school year.
Creadores Labs are completely free, both for educational centres and for participating students.
